Come Together, Act Now
On 7 December 2024, Sparrow Society proudly hosted a significant event as part of the global 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign (25 Nov – 10 Dec).

The event created a safe and empowering space where survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) engaged directly with key service providers. Survivors received crucial guidance on their rights and available processes — including how to obtain protection orders, report abuse, file criminal cases, access Thuthuzela Care Centres, and initiate divorce proceedings.

This event was an important step in ensuring that survivors are not only heard but also equipped with actionable support and knowledge to move forward with dignity and strength.
