Honoring Roots, Embracing Change
On 23 May 2025, Sparrow Society hosted a Circle of Courage Workshop facilitated by Justice Desk Africa.

The session focused on navigating personal journeys in different roles—whether as mothers, employees, aunts, grandmothers, or caregivers. Women reflected on the values and discipline they grew up with, compared to how today’s generation learns and receives guidance.

Through open conversations, participants explored how to adapt with the times while remaining courageous, authentic, and true to their upbringing. Many appreciated the safe space to share their struggles with balancing tradition and change in their families and communities.
