Recognising and Managing Your Trauma Triggers
On 26 February 2025, Sparrow Society hosted a powerful workshop facilitated by the Trauma Centre and International Association for Human Values.
The session focused on understanding how past trauma can affect the present and taught practical tools such as deep, calm breathing techniques (like Ocean Breaths) to manage emotional triggers. Participants were encouraged to stay present in their feelings, practice mindful breathing, and give themselves permission to pause.
