Circle of Courage & Human Rights Workshop

In support of the 2025 16 Days of Activism Campaign, Sparrow Society partnered with Justice Desk Africa to host a powerful workshop for our Survivors of GBV and our Ambassadors of Excellence.

Together, we explored the Circle of Courage, understanding the importance of belonging, mastery, independence, and generosity — and how these pillars strengthen each woman’s journey toward healing and wholeness. We also reflected on Human Rights, empowering our participants to recognise their worth, their voice, and the rights that protect their dignity.

Through guided discussions, creative reflection, and open sharing, our ladies expressed some truly beautiful reasons why they love being part of Sparrow Society — reasons grounded in safety, sisterhood, growth, and renewed confidence.

From speaking their truths to discovering their strengths, this workshop created a space where survivors felt seen, heard, and supported.
A space where healing becomes possible, and empowerment becomes real.
